Ali Power, LCSW, MFA, is a psychotherapist and writer based in the Hudson Valley, NY with offices in Woodstock and Rhinebeck. She is the author of A Poem for Record Keepers (Argos Books, 2016) and the co-editor of New York School Painters & Poets (Rizzoli, 2014). Ali completed her psychotherapeutic training at New York University, The National Institute for the Psychotherapies, and Nalanda Institute’s Contemplative Psychotherapy Program and holds an MSW from NYU, an MFA from The New School, and a BA from Boston College. From 2017–2020, she provided psychotherapy at a mental health clinic in New York City to those impacted by the justice system; while there, Ali founded the clinic's meditation group as well as a psychotherapy group supporting folks with long-term incarceration history. Ali currently works with individuals and couples and provides clinical supervision to therapists in training.
